Your PrePaid Visa Benny Debit Card offers you access to your Employee Benefit Dollars 24 hours a day and 7 days a week without waiting on a manual reimbursement.
How does my BennyCard work?
Upon receipt of your BennyCard, you must activate your card by calling the 1-800 number listed on the sticker affixed to the card or by visiting www.mybenny.com/cardactivation. Once the card is activated, you can mange your BennyCard account online by registering at www.mybenny.com.
Your BennyCard is NOT a debit card and cannot be used as a debit card. Although the face of the BennyCard states "Debit Card," there is not a PIN number correspondent to your card that would allow you to complete a debit transaction. Always swipe your BennyCard as a credit transaction rather than debit at your point of sale.
Where can I use my BennyCard?
The BennyCard is accepted at all IRS IIAS Approved Merchants and at most medical facilities. Please click here for a detailed list of IIAS Merchants.
Does my BennyCard claim require supporting documentation?
Although the Benny Card offers immediate access to your funds, the IRS requires you to maintain any and all receipts for purchases or services paid with the BennyCard. The card automatically detects many purchases at IIAS locations. If the BennyCard does not recognize the purchase, PAI will send you an e-mail requesting an itemized receipt for approval. Click here for tips to limit these requests.
What if I do not provide requested receipts?
If you fail to submit the requested documentation/receipts, VISA will temporarily suspend your BennyCard. Your BennyCard will not be reactivated until the documentation is submitted to PAI. The receipt must include the following information:
- Itemized Receipts
- Date of Service
- Type of service
- Cost to participant
While we strive to make the claims process as simple and friendly as possible, existing laws and regulations limit our ability to be as flexible as we would like to be when processing your claims. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to accept credit card receipts, cancelled checks and or balance due statements as documentary proof of your eligible expense.
